What information or documents do I need to start my visa journey?

To submit your application, you only need your valid passport and a recent passport sized photograph. BluePath will clearly guide you through the additional details required.

How does the application process work?

Once your appointment date is confirmed, a BluePath representative will contact you via your preferred method (WhatsApp, Phone, Facebook or Instagram) and walk you through each question to complete your application. BluePath also assists with U.S. Embassy fee payment and interview scheduling where applicable.

How long does the application process take?

While the official visa processing time may vary depending on the United States Embassy, it takes approximately one hour to one hour and thirty minutes to complete your application with BluePath.

Do you guarantee visa approval?

No, visa approval decisions are made solely by the United States Embassy, so approval cannot be guaranteed. However, we do ensure that your application is completed accurately and provide supportive guidance so that you feel fully prepared and confident during the process.

How much is the United States Embassy Visa Processing Fee?

The current U.S. Embassy visa processing fee is approximately USD$185, as set by the United States government. Please note that this fee is separate from the BluePath fee and may be subject to change based on the United States Embassy updates.

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer flexible payment options for your convenience. Payments can be made via MMG Cash deposits, MMG mobile transfer and local bank transfer through GBTI, Citizens Bank, Demerara Bank, Republic Bank or Scotiabank. For clients outside of Guyana, payments are also accepted through Western Union and MoneyGram.

Can I apply again if my visa was previously refused?

Yes, if your visa was previously refused, you may apply again. The U.S. Embassy will typically provide a letter explaining the reason for the refusal, which can help you understand what may need to be improved before re-applying.

What happens after my visa application is submitted?

Once your application has been successfully submitted, the next step is to pay the United States Embassy visa processing fee. Once this payment is reflected, you may be scheduled for an interview or may qualify for an interview waiver. From there, the United States Embassy will make the final decision on your visa outcome.
